Lois Lane's Story
Intake date: 10/31/25
Status: Available

Lois Lane is a juvenile ball python who was an owner surrender. She is still a nervous, shy juvenile but fairly easy to handle. Lois Lane eats F/T small rats or large mice and she has a great appetite. Her adoption fee is $50.

Lois Lane will require a minimum 36" x 18" x 12" enclosure right now. Eventually, she may benefit from a 4x2 enclosure.

**We do NOT recommend glass tanks/aquariums for ball pythons due to humidity issues. While they can be appropriately modified, this is not easy for a beginner keeper and we have seen repeated issues with stuck shed and anorexia. Please check out our care guide for alternative housing methods--we recommend PVC cages and appropriate bin setups.**

PLEASE READ!
If you are interested in adopting this animal, you need to fill out an application at https://bewildnc.org/apply/.
