Intake Date: 1/17/26<br/>Available on 2/16/26<br/><br/>Kotaro is an adult female bearded dragon who originally came to us from a hoarding case a few years ago. Kotaro was adopted out and returned due to no fault of her own. Kotaro is a friendly bearded dragon who is easy to handle. She can be a picky eater and prefers superworms and hornworms, but will will eat salads and dubia with encouragement. <br/><br/>Kotaro has veterinary records available at Avian and Exotic Animal Care and is currently taking a blood pressure medication daily for portal vein hypertension. Kotaro has received bloodwork and advanced imaging at AEAC and is doing well on her medication. She will require checkups every 6 months and monitoring for clinical signs such as fluid accumulation under her throat or in her belly.
