Kong's Story

Kong is a large Mali uromastyx with some front leg issues. His front legs tend to fold under when he tries to move. His locomotion is powered by his hind legs. Kong is quite docile and easy to handle. He is provided with greens and seeds daily, but tends to ignore them. Kong eagerly devours giant mealworms, but that is not what his diet should be. The Northern California Herpetological Society accepts unwanted pet reptiles and provides them with vet checks and supportive care as needed. Adopters are expected to be familiar with the care and handling of the species. We are based in Sacramento, CA, and do not ship animals. A donation of $30 is requested to help cover our vet costs.
