Kingsley, Carpet Python's Story

Age: Unknown
Morph: Coastal/unknown
Sex: Male
Size: 5 feet
Personality: Kingsley has a skittish temperament, as is common for this species. He is wary of handling and has demonstrated a mock-strike on a couple of occasions but once out of the enclosure, he's just very squirmy, and we expect that he will settle down nicely with a calm and experienced handler. Kingsley loves to climb and is active in his enclosure. He eats a frozen thawed medium rat every other week and has never turned down a meal.
History: Was found free roaming but arrived in excellent body condition, indicating he was not on the loose for very long.
If you are interested in adopting Kingsley, please complete an adoption application (http://www.norcalherp.com/adoptionform.html) and contact Dawn (rustynail1127@sbcglobal.net) with any question

Please download, print and fill out the Adoption Application and Adoption Contract that are found at the NCHS website, www.norcalherp.com . The donation requested is $40, with a $10 discount for NCHS members. Note: memberships can also be purchased either at the website or at any NCHS general meeting.

The Northern California Herpetological Society accepts unwanted pet reptiles and provides them with vet checks and supportive care as needed. Adopters are expected to be familiar with the care and handling of the species. We are based in Sacramento, CA, and do not ship animals. A donation of $40 is requested to help cover our vet costs.
