Jupiter #193's Story

Hi! My name is Jupiter!

I was rescued from a bad situation and I lived a great life with that person for 2 yrs until they had to move due to the pandemic and could not take me with them. The rescue took me in and now I am looking for my final and forever home!

Fun Fact about me: Because I am very close to being an albino, I have a hard time seeing my food but the rescue has figured out a way to ensure that I eat on my own so I stay healthy! The rescue will teach you this very simple task :)

So a little about me, if cared for right, I can live up to 20 years and grow as long as 10 inches! I may be a small lizard but I'm a big commitment. Unlike other geckos, I don’t have sticky fingers to climb up walls. I am fairly delicate but hardy, though if scared I can drop my tail. This means I lose my fat reserves. It will grow back but it's better if I never lose it in the first place. A fat tail means that I am healthy!

I am nocturnal so I like to eat and socialize in the evening with my people. I am also an insectivore, which means I love eating a variety of bugs! Most importantly, I need to be house all by myself. We do not cohabitate, even if another gecko is the opposite gender.

Check out this link to learn more about me and what I need > https://www.completecritter.com/leopard-gecko.html

If you think we may be a good match, or you would like to get to know me better, please click the Adoption Application button below my profile on our website to complete a super quick application.
Here is the link > https://www.smallbreedrescue.org/Home/AnimalDetails/139

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT SHIP OUR ANIMALS.
