Iris's Story

Iris has had a rough start in life. She has Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD), and has been treated for mouth rot, and infected jaw, and a broken leg. Due to her MBD, she will need an enclosure with more width than height to protect her from falling and hurting herself.

She can be very sweet when you work with her, but is defensive of her enclosure space. We believe she will do well with more frequent interaction in her forever home!

Iguana experience or extreme dedication to learning is required. Iguanas are NOT a beginner species.

If you think Iris is the right fit for your home, please contact us for more information.
