GI Joe's Story
This "fancy ball python" is believed to be a male apx 3-4yrs old. We were told his genes include cinnamon, pastel (pewter), yellow belly, and leopard. <br/><br/>He's very food motivated & is somewhat cage protective. Like most defensive ball pythons, he only strikes if you reach straight in with your hand & dont use appropriate technique. If you use a tap training method or can reach him from a backwards angle, he can easily be removed from the habitat & doesn’t show aggression. He is a bit skittish with handling but pulls his head back rather than lashing out. And he doesn’t stay balled for long. He warms up quickly & likes to explore! With time & patience he can definitely be more calm & very handleable. Experienced snake owner necessary OR adopter must show extensive research & understanding in ball python ownership for a first timer to be considered. Not recommended for a child or teen pet. Must show proof of adequate setup & husbandry. Adoption fee is $150. <br/><br/>To apply for adoption please send a message with information about yourself, reptile experience, and setup.
