Frida's Story

Intake date: 2/1/24
Status: Available

Frida is a subadult female ball python who was surrendered as a baby. She has grown up here and is a big girl now! She has a great appetite but is pretty defensive and would need a more experienced handler. Her adoption fee is $50.

Care sheet: https://bewildnc.org/ball-python/

**We do not recommend glass tanks/aquariums for ball pythons due to humidity and security issues. If you use a glass tank, you MUST cover up at least 75% of the screen top with plastic, plexiglass, or foil tape AND provide a lot of cover. Many ball pythons will require that 3 of the glass sides are covered with paper or a background if they are more nervous. Please check out our care guide for alternative housing methods--we highly recommend PVC cages and appropriate bin setups.**

We do approve cages that are solid sided but have screen tops--they just MUST be modified.
