Fluffy's Story

*adult female ball python<br/>*Fluffy came into our rescue as part of a large group of neglected snakes that were taken from an owner. They were all extremely skinny and neglected and have been hanging out in foster getting healthy! She was one out of the second group and surprisingly the healthiest of the group, almost a little overweight. I suspect he was recently acquired by the person and hadn't had time to get as bad. She has been doing amazing, eating and drinking and going potty, and has had a shed. He is ready to find a family!<br/><br/>Per his foster: She typical ball python shy at first, but quickly becomes very curious, always tongue flicking and looking around. She is extremely active in her enclosure and long term would thrive a lot better in at least an 85-150 gallon tank, as she is out for several hours every night and a 40 gallon just wont suffice for the remainder of her life, in my opinion. She lets my kids hold her. She does sometimes hiss when I get her out to clean, but she never strikes and quickly settles down.<br/><br/>Ball pythons need large size tanks, regular feeding (frozen thawed for their safety), the right tank set up, heat lamps and temperatures, and proper humidity and care. They are amazing, sweet snakes who enjoy human interaction. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $60

Judge's Park's Adoption Policy
**Please scroll down on any animal you are interested in and read their profile thoroughly. It tells all relevant information on the animal and also how you can begin the adoption process!** If interested in adopting an animal from Judge's Park, you must first fill out our adoption application at https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Once we get that completed and sent to us we can set up a visit to see the animal you are interested in. We cannot set up visits before we receive the application. Judge's Park does not have open hours and animals are visited by appointment only. No exceptions! Rabbits and cats require a home visit prior to adoption. We may or may not ask you of a picture of your cage and set up if adopting another type of animal. We have the right to refuse adoption to ANYONE. Adoption appointments, surrenders, or other visits are at the time scheduled. Not before and not after. If you arrive early, we ask that you wait in your car until your appointment time. If you will be over 30 minutes late, we ask that you reschedule for another day. We cannot schedule appointments after 6:30 in the evening. No calls no shows will NOT be rescheduled. Please be respectful of the people who take their time to run this rescue and their personal time that could be spent with their families. We strive to adopt animals to the best home that we can find for them. Many of them have been neglected, abandoned, and abused, and we will not allow them to be returned to such an environment. If we do not think a home is suitable, we will not place an animal in that home. All of our animals are adopted out as indoors only! If we are able, the animal will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption (all cats and rabbits). No animal will ever be adopted out for breeding. If you do not live close to us and are interested in an animal, we do work with transports. Pictures and/or video in lieu of a home visit may be required. All questions can be directed to judges.park@yahoo.com
