Cyndaquil's Story
Intake date: 4/14/24
Status: Available

Cyndaquil is an adult male leopard gecko. He came to us very thin with some eye issues from a vitamin A deficiency. Cyndaquil's eyes have healed and he has a great appetite now. He is still a little nervous with handling but has gotten much better. Cyndaquil does occasionally get hemipenal impactions as he had keratin buildup there from the vitamin A deficiency originally; this can cause permanent scarring. We would recommend that his adopter is either experienced with leopard geckos and can help him remove these every few months or regularly seek removal at a veterinarian. His adoption fee is $50.

This gecko will require a minimum 36" x 18" x 12" enclosure.

Visit our care guide here: https://bewildnc.org/leopard-gecko

PLEASE READ!
If you are interested in adopting this animal, you need to fill out an application at https://bewildnc.org/apply/. Read the application carefully and answer the questions thoroughly. Above all, be honest! Research the species you would like to adopt in advance and consult multiple sources, we are happy to answer questions. Adopters agree to pick-up the animal in Durham within 7 days of their approval.
