Chili 's Story

MEET Chili
Chili the corn snake arrived to Reptilia In 2019 as an adult and has been an ambassador animal in our education program as well as a zoo exhibit resident at Reptilia Whitby. While the age of Chili is unknown, they are still an incredibly active snake and looking to find a permanent home. Chili has a enthusiastic feeding response and has never skipped a meal, arriving obese and going on a weight loss journey to assist in trimming down. Chili is incredibly inquisitive and an excellent snake to handle for novice reptile owners or households with children in the home who would like to be a part of the care and handling process under adult supervision.

ENCLOSURE:
Enclosure size: No smaller than 36? x 18? x 18? They tend to have a calm temperament, although can be very active and tend to move around a lot more than other common pet snakes, such as ball pythons. Very reliable eaters, and very entertaining to watch while they explore their surroundings.
Lifespan can range from 25- 35 years!

For more information about our adoption program at Reptilia Whitby, please email zoo.whitby@reptilia.org
