Boris's Story
Boris is a Russian tortoise. He really enjoys his independence and constantly tries to explore new found regions of the the backyard. He requires a large outdoor area otherwise he will complain or escape. He was rescued from a large pet supply chain when he was a year old. He was sick with a cold. It has been about three years and he is completely recovered and never had a problem again. Our rescue does not usually rescue reptiles but, we can't walk by any animal in need and refuse to help. His foster home has dogs and with his need to explore the two don't always mix. He would like a home with someone that knows how to care for tortoises and were he would be loved. Please email for an application if you are interested.
