Boa's Story
This boa came in from a very caring home. But as they were growing their human family, they decided it was time to find a new home for their large constrictor. This boa has been very friendly to handle at times, but he has also been very defensive and struck multiple times. For that reason, we must insist he goes to an experienced home that is familiar with boas and the defensive strikes of this species when they aren't handled very often. With regular handling we'd expect him to settle down a lot, but he is still a fairly large 5-6 ft long snake, with the capability to grow a few feet longer. He is doing very well eating f/t rats here at the rescue.

If you are interested in adopting this reptile, please submit an online application at www.forgottenfriend.org/apply.

Please understand:

1.
