Whimsy's Story

Hi everyone, my name is Whimsy, and I was one of several rabbits that were taken from a hoarding/confiscation case in a local town. There were over 100 animals of all different species living in a home and after a medical alert to help the owner the town officials were called because of how bad the living conditions for all of the animals.

There were over 30 rabbits living in the basement with no light or vet care. I am one of those buns and I am now healthy and ready for adoption.

I am a gorgeous and very curious English Angora rabbit which means I have lots and lots of fur that needs to be constantly cared for so it does not matt which can cause pulling on my skin. When I first arrived at the original shelter, I gave birth to 9 babies and because of all the stress sadly I lost all of them. I was in such bad shape myself though I just did not have the strength to be a mom. I am now spayed so there are no more concerns of that happening. I have been seen by more than one vet and even had multiple fecal tests done just to make sure I am in the clear.

I am now living the good life with lots of good food, hay, attention and am loving life. I am binkying everywhere I can and live in a big xpen inside of course.

I am eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Rabbit Pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of fresh water plus a daily salad. I love anything and everything you give me and can you blame me after my past?

Would you consider opening your heart and home to a sweet girl like me?
