Weston is a young American rabbit with an incredibly friendly and outgoing personality. He is exceptionally well-socialized and absolutely loves being around people. Affectionate, confident, and curious, Weston seeks out attention and will happily hop over for pets whenever he gets the chance. One of his favorite things is climbing right into your lap for cuddles and extra affection!<br/><br/>Like all rabbits, Weston benefits from enrichment and opportunities to express natural behaviors. Providing tunnels, toys, chew items, hideouts, and space to exercise will help keep him physically and mentally stimulated. He enjoys interaction and will continue to flourish in a home that provides companionship and positive engagement.<br/><br/>Training & Support<br/>Weston's strong foundation of socialization makes him an excellent candidate for continued learning and bonding. He is already comfortable with people and handling, and his friendly temperament allows him to adapt well to new experiences when introduced positively. Please note, in order to create a calm environment for our adoptable animals, we use appointment system for viewings. This ensures that the animals are not stressed out by having too many visitors, and that our potential adopters are well-served by our Animal Care Attendants. How to Adopt a Pet: Step 1 - View the pets available online and fill in an adoption application form (see link below). Step 2 - Email the application form to: animal.shelter@vancouver.ca Step 3 - If you're a match, we will email you to arrange a viewing appointment. If you're coming to view a dog, please note the following: You will be able to take it for a walk at the viewing appointment. When you visit, please bring everyone who lives in the home, including children. If you already own a dog, you'll need to bring them too. Please let our staff know if advance if you have another dog, as we will need to be adequately prepared for a dog meet-up.
