Because the rabbits were male and female, shelter staff separated them and they had Valentine neutered shortly after his arrival.<br/>When a foster home opened up, we were happy to take Valentine and Viola into our care. They went straight to the vet on their rescue day where they were both given a clean bill of health and Viola was spayed.<br/>Their foster family set them up in a large pen that was separated down the middle so they could get reacquainted after being separated at the shelter, and to give Viola a chance to heal from surgery. Over the next few weeks, Valentine and Viola had regular supervised playdates. Eventually the barrier in their pen was removed and they were very happy to be back together. Their bond is very strong so we are asking they be adopted together.<br/><br/>Valentine and Viola are extremely friendly bunnies, and they love to be petted. They have excellent litter box skills.
