Vernie's Story

Vernie, Vincent, and Vander are three of the softest Mini Rex bunnies you will ever meet! They love to chew on cardboard, play with toys, and try new vegetables. They are a few months old and are beginning to show their personality. Vander (tan with black) is the most outgoing of the bunch. He is the first to run to the hay and vegetables and loves pets from his humans. Vincent (brown) is the shyest of the three. He will hold back a bit, but once you start petting his ears, he melts and enjoys the full bun massage. Vernie (white) is right in the middle – he is a little shy but is brave enough to explore and come forward for pets.

Any of these three boys would make a wonderful addition to your home! They have all been neutered and vaccinated, and are unbothered by three gigantic cats. Because they are young males, there is no guarantee they will remain bonded, so they can be adopted as a single, pair or trio. Please be aware if you do adopt a pair or trio, they may lose their bond as they grow, and would require their own space.

If you're interested in adopting Vernie, please fill out our adoption questionnaire, which can be found on the adoption page of our website at wisconsinhrs.org.

Adopters receive a free copy of the House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an
Urban Rabbit and a complimentary one year membership to the Wisconsin House Rabbit Society.
