Vernie & Vander (Bonded Pair)'s Story
Vernie and Vander are two of the softest Mini Rex bunnies you will ever meet! They love to chew on cardboard (especially third-shift bunstruction), play with toys, eat LOTS of hay, and try new vegetables. They are juvenile buns and are beginning to show their personality. Vander (tan with black) is the most outgoing; he loves pets from his humans and is interested when his cat siblings walk by. Vernie (white) is a little shy but is brave enough to explore and come forward for pets. The boys groom each other and snuggle together at nap time. When the zoomies hit, they circle around their area in excitement, then flop down dramatically. They are a bonded pair and are looking for a home together.

Vander and Vernie have been neutered and vaccinated and are unbothered by three gigantic cats. They have done well around the few kids they have met, with supervision. If you're interested in adopting these adorable boys, please fill out our adoption questionnaire, which can be found on the adoption page of our website at wisconsinhrs.org.

Adopters receive a free copy of the House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an
Urban Rabbit and a complimentary one year membership to the Wisconsin House Rabbit Society.
