Tyson's Story
We love Tyson but....he needs the perfect person to adopt him. Luckily for him, he has size and cuteness in his corner but don't be swayed by his looks.
He is reactive, enclosure aggressive, and very untrusting of humans. We've made a small amount of progress with him, but we believe the right person might finally gain his trust and make him feel settled.
He will need someone who is patient and experienced. He also needs to be allowed space while also pushing back slightly to show you are confident and not affected by his grunts and shows of aggression.
Lots of time to sit with him calmly and show you are trustworthy. He also needs a large amount of physical space if possible, with no access to other animals. He will consistently try to attack other rabbits and cats as well. Not sure about dogs...he probably won't be that scared of them, but he shouldn't share continued space with a dog.
His good points are that he's very healthy, excellent with his litterbox, and while he eats continuously like all other rabbits, he eats much less since he's so small.
Are you Tyson's person/family? He's been waiting a long time for the right fit.
If you are interested in meeting Tyson, please email Amy at amy_rabbitrescue@yahoo.com
