Truett's Story

Truett was trapped as a stray in the bosque around Christmas. She is a large bun at close to 7 pounds and has the most beautiful dark agouti coloring and adorable white paws. She is understandably nervous around people but is warming up, and we think that she has a lot of potential to be a love bug. She doesn't love being picked up but once she is being held she is calm and lets you pet her. She will take a treat directly from your hand and then lets you pet her while she eats.

Tru gets excited for breakfast and dinner every day and likes chewing her toys. She is a big drinker and great at using the litter box. She is spayed and vaccinated for RHDV2. Her adoption fee is $95. If you are interested in giving her a forever home, please submit an application at bit.ly/NMHRSadoptionapp
