Trinket's Story

INDOOR HOMES ONLY PLEASE

Trinket was one of a hundred rabbits rescued on from a park on the boarder of Long Beach and Lakewood. Her rescue date was June 30, 2020. She gave birth to a litter of five on July 2, 2020!

I reunited her with her running buddy, Tynsdale, also rescued from the same park. Sadly, he passed away in 2023. Perhaps Trinket would like a new rabbit friend?

I am estimating Trinket's date of birth to be at least January 2020 if not one or two years prior to that. The park she was living at had a large colony of domestic rabbits but she was the last one rescued from there!

Trinket should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. She can have that as her home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is always open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Wire grid bottoms on cages/hutches and pull-out trays are not recommended. Towers, castles and tunnels are a preferred alternative to a cage/hutch. Please ask before you purchase supplies.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Trinket can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore.

IF YOU ARE SEEKING A RABBIT AS A COMPANION FOR YOUR EXISTING RABBIT, YOUR RABBIT SHOULD BE SPAYED/NEUTERED!

Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
