Tostada's Story
Oh geez Louise, what a day.

A lot of our volunteer rescue team members don’t just save bunnies - they help any animal in need.

Today, while out trying to rescue a snow goose, they spotted what they thought was a cat in the woods. Spoiler alert: definitely not a cat.

Meet Tostada.

This little guy has been living alone in the woods for who knows how long, surviving off pure luck and instinct.

But today, that luck finally paid off - our team managed to safely catch him and bring him to safety. The snow goose managed to dodge capture (for now), but our volunteers aren’t giving up.

Tostada is now cozy, safe, and finally getting the care he deserves. He’ll be heading to the vet soon for a full checkup, neuter, and treatment for whatever comes up.

Totally unexpected rescue today - but that’s how it goes in the world of animal rescue. Every day brings a surprise and every surprise adds to the vet bills.

When a scared little guy like Tostada is out there alone in the woods, we won’t leave him, because that’s just not who we are. So Tostada, welcome to Dolly’s.

What an unexpected turn of events!
