Sweet Potato is as sweet as her name suggests! She was found on the side of a road in Eau Claiire, along with three other rabbits. She was very shy when she arrived at our main foster facility, but has since settled in and learned that people bring food and pets. It may take a little time and patience, but earning her trust will be truly rewarding and you'll have a new best friend. Speaking of friends, Sweet Potato may like a rabbit companion, since she was found with other rabbits. Wisconsin House Rabbit Society's Adoption Policy
As part of our adoption contract all rabbits must be kept indoors where they are safe from predators and parasites or diseases. The first step in the process is to fill out and submit our adoption application. Once reviewed you will be contacted by phone and a time to meet requested rabbit(s) will be set up. We generally do not do same day adoptions unless you are approved prior. The approval process involves a home inspection either in person or through photos/video sent to us. Once your set up is approved we will proceed with the adoption.
