Sweet Athena

You will not believe this Black Otter Rex is a real bunny but she is. Her fur is extremely soft and she's made her way to us from Georgia. I don't expect her to be in foster for long because she is so unusual looking and she will likely be adopted quickly. Athena reminds us of a living velveteen rabbit!

She is a sweet bunny looking for a rabbit buddy. If you have a rabbit looking for a bondmate she will get along well with other rabbits. She is not scared of other animals. If you have a dog it could be okay as long as they are not prey-driven. Cats will likely work as well. Good with older children.

If you are home a lot and truly looking for a buddy she could be a pet that takes center-stage but we hope she will have another rabbit to pal around with.

Athena is requesting a lot of free roam time and if it can't be all the time, then she'd like an xpen when she has to be contained (no cage or hutch). If you have not had rabbits before we can help with bunny care basics.

If you think this sweet, curious and friendly girl might be a match for you please reach out by text or call to: 828-230-0267

Note: will only be adopted to indoor homes.
