Summer's Story

Hi, I’m the beautiful Summer and I am told that between my Dutch mix breed markings and my beautiful, soulful eyes it’s difficult not to get lost in time just watching me. I am only about six months old and was rescued when I escaped a hutch that I had been kept in with my family for my entire short life. So trusting humans is new to me and my foster has been helping me learn that humans can be nice. I do enjoy pets on my forehead and am learning that gentle ear scratches are nice too. I’m not a fan of being picked up as it scares me, but when I do need to be picked up, I will quickly snuggle into your chest and neck seeking comfort. I am cautiously curious about everything, but I do love to explore as love as I feel safe, because sometimes the unknown can be a little scary. When it is quiet, I do like to play, hopping through my tunnel, chewing on and tossing my hay mat and hay twist. When I have had enough pets, I will gently nudge you away. I am sure that once I learn I can trust you and accept all your love, I will do zoomies and hop with joy, exploring everywhere and snuggling with you every chance I get. So be patient with me as I realize being a forever indoor bunny comes with lots of rewards. I promise I can be and will be the sweetest, most loving little bun you’ve ever met.

I am already spayed, vaccinated for the Rabbit Hemorrhagic Virus, microchipped and litter box trained.
