SUMMER's Story

Summer is a sweet and friendly girl! She was adopted out previously but did not bond with their rabbit and was returned. She has been in foster care where she has been able to rest and recuperate from some minor injuries. At first she was very stressed and just wanted to be left alone. She has done really well in foster and has gained back her confidence and is back to being her sweet and friendly self again. She is a character who loves attention and time out of her pen exploring. She uses her litterbox well and is a good hay eater. She absolutely loves pellets and greens and will race over to her bowl and shove her head in it often before we can get the pellets into it! She can easily be bribed with treats claiming she didn’t get any even though she did. We are looking for a forever home for Summer where she can get all the love and attention she so desperately wants. She would be happy to be the only bunny in your home where she can be the centre of attention. She could possibly bond with an extremely passive and gentle male but it will take time and patience. The new owner must be willing to accept that she may prefer her own space rather than living with another rabbit. If you have space in your heart and home for Summer please call the East Region at 416-338-PAWS (7297) to learn more about me!
