Stitch's Story

Meet STITCH: A Sun-Loving Explorer with a Big Personality

Stitch is a handsome, curious boy who is looking for a home where he can be the star of the show. He is a "solo artist" who prefers to be the only rabbit in the house, and has absolutely no intention of sharing his kingdom, his cardboard, or his humans with any other bunnies. He's decided that one rabbit is more than enough for any household, and he's committed to being the solo star of the show.

While Stitch is a confident explorer, he is very much a creature of habit. He thrives on a routine and expects his humans to keep up with his schedule. Adopters should be warned: if you miss his feeding time, he will sit and stare you down until his bowl is filled. He also appreciates a patient environment as he settles in-while he is brave, he still needs a little time to get used to new people and unfamiliar noises.

While he doesn't really "see" his surroundings as much as he "feels" them. So he treats the world like a giant game of Marco Polo. If he had a tiny pair of bifocals, he'd probably be much more confident, but for now, he just relies on his nose and his human to tell him where the snacks are.

He isn't a fan of being picked up or held, but he truly enjoys being near his people. He has even discovered that sitting in a chair on a lap for a good brushing session is wonderful.

He comes with a resume that includes extensive experience in Junior Human Relations. He's spent plenty of time around the small ones, so he isn't easily shocked by a stray toy or a sudden giggle. He's a pro at navigating a house full of life, provided he has his own cardboard fortress to retreat to when he needs a break!

This little guy is an absolute pro when it comes to his litter box habits and rarely ever leaves a "cocoa puff" out of place. When he isn't busy being tidy, you can find him watching TV or stretching out for a nap whenever the sun hits the floor just right. He is a very active chewer who loves cardboard and toys, but potential adopters should know he has a nose for "spicy hay." His new family will need to make sure all electrical cords are tucked away and out of reach of his curious nose. If you have plenty of cardboard, fresh veggies, and the occasional slice of banana, you'll have a friend for life.
