Speck's Story

We are truly "Lucky Bunnies!" We were rescued from Santee Alley in the LA Garment District where we were being bred and sold illegally at a mere 7-14 days old. After being impounded by LAPD, we were set to be euthanized at the LA North Animal Shelter. Thankfully, Bunny World Foundation took us in. There we were dewormed, deflead, given antibiotics and weaned for two months. Now we are strong enough to live on alfalfa hay, veggies and pellets.

Babies are supposed to stay with their moms for at least 8 weeks. When taken away while eyes are still closed, babies are deprived of nutrients and colostrum found in mom's milk. For more info, please watch ABC Eyewitness News Video on Bunny World Foundation website - www.bunnyworld.foundation.org.

Please e-mail Bunny World Foundation at info@bunnyworldfoundation.org.

THANK YOU. WE ARE TAME, LOVING, SMALL AND LITTERBOX TRAINED! :)

LUCKY BUNNIES
