Sonny & Cher's Story

Cher (white, female, 8 years old) and Sonny (black, male, 6 years old) are a pair who really give off "I got you babe" vibes with their close bond. Cher is a Bunanza volunteer favorite who loves to soak up the attention with volunteer pets, grooming sessions (love a rabbit who makes being brushed feel like a breeze), and snuggles. Sonny is the more shy of the two, but is quickly becoming more comfortable at the rescue, accepting pets and becoming more curious!

These sweeties are as easygoing as they get! They are still working on improved litter box habits with their transition to the rescue, but are showing quick improvements.

Cher is starting to develop arthritis due to her age, but she doesn't let anything limit her day-to-day ability to enjoy love or hop in and out of her litterbox for all-day hay snackies! Oxbow Joint Support cookies are her twice a day senior treats, which she doesn't seem too upset about...

Click “START YOUR INQUIRY” or email bunanzarabbit@gmail.com to schedule a time to meet fabulous Sonny & Cher!

*When you adopt older bunnies from Bunanza Rabbit Rescue, you're getting known friends. We can tell you exactly what they like, what makes them happy, and what kind of home will help them thrive. No guessing games, just the start of a wonderful friendship! Domestic rabbits often live around 10-12 years, but with good care, can happily reach their teens, sometimes even 15+! These mature buns are in great health, ready to hop right into their forever home. Older buns form deep, lasting bonds with their humans. Once you've earned their trust, they'll love you with their whole heart and full loyalty.*
