Smokie's Story

Meet Smokie!

Smokie is a very quiet and laid back bun. She enjoys her days stretched out on the floor or catching a few rays through the window. Since Smokie was a surrender to the rescue, so we are unsure of her age. But she seems to be a young adult.

Smokie is an absolute FOODIE! She can smell or hear that banana peel from 2 rooms over. And don't try and skip treats. You will likely get a loud thump from her!

While Smokie loves pets and will happily lower her head for many scritches, she does not like to be picked up. She has done well with our older children, but younger children still make her nervous.

She doesn't mind some handling, as we frequently take her outside to enjoy the garden or put her on the bed for some cuddle time.

Smokie is set to be spayed the first week of November. She will be ready for adoption 2-3 weeks after her surgery.

Please come by and visit her or our other buns! They would love to see you!
