He desperately wants affection and companionship, yet he's afraid of what human hands might bring. You can see the conflict in him every day.

When you reach toward him, he may become vocal or protective of his space. And honestly, who could blame him? For the first time in his life, he finally has a place that feels safe. A place that's his.

But here's the beautiful part of Skippy's story.

The moment he's gently picked up and held, his little body melts into a perfect bunny loaf. The tension fades. His eyes soften. For a few precious moments, he allows himself to enjoy being loved.

It's as if his heart is saying, βI want this so badly... I'm just scared.β

Skippy isn't looking for perfection. He's looking for patience.

He's looking for someone who understands that healing takes time.

Someone who won't expect instant trust but will celebrate every small step forward.

And there is so much to love about this little guy.

π€ He's wonderfully litter trained.

π€ He loves his meals and never misses snack time.

π€ His zoomies and binkies are pure joy to watch.

π€ He loves when people lie on the floor and let him explore at his own pace.

π€ Beneath the fear is a sweet rabbit who desperately wants to believe humans can be kind.

Skippy has survived abandonment. He has survived cruelty. He has survived loss.

Now he deserves the chance to simply be a bunny.

To wake up every day knowing he is safe.

To learn that hands can bring comfort instead of fear.

To find a family that sees past his trust issues and recognizes the brave little soul underneath.

If you've ever wanted to change a life, Skippy is waiting.

Not for someone to save himβhe's already done the hard work of surviving.

He's waiting for someone who will show him that his story doesn't have to end with the humans who hurt him.

It can begin with the humans who finally love him.

Could that be you? π°π€

Apply for Skippy at https://rabbitangelsrescue.org/adopt_app.php?bunname=Skippy

Our adoption fee is $120 for a single and $180 for a bonded pair.
