Shale's Story

Meet Shale! This handsome little dude can't wait to meet you! His mama, Pebbles, had him only three weeks before he was surrendered to us, so we have had the honor of watching him and his siblings grow up. He was born in December of 2025, making him young and full of energy. He is an English Spot mix.

Shale loves attention and head scratches and gentle pets on the spot between his ears and his back. He is super curious and would love to get time to roam and explore his new home. Climbing is one of his favorite hobbies, so be prepared to have him spend time with you on the couch. His other favorite activity is flipping his cups and foraging. He loves fresh basil, mint, oregano, and bell peppers. He also has great litter habits!

Shale would likely do well in most homes, though has never been around dogs or cats. He may enjoy a bunny friend. He is looking for a home with older children and someone to take time to give him attention.

If you think this boy might be the one you are looking for, please fill out an application at www.iowarabbitrescue.org/adopt
