Shadow (Milwaukee/Waukesha area)'s Story

Shadow is a young female rabbit who came to us from Jefferson County Humane because she was a little too assertive when hands came into her cage.
So, she is territorial and reactive in small spaces and needs a large area to call her home. She moved to a Richfield foster home to give her more space, and she is thriving.

Shadow has lots of energy and likes to keep busy with her toys, her tunnel, and her hidey house. She comes for petting the minute her caregiver comes near her area, and she is always happy if a treat is involved.

Shadow may be tiny, but she eats her hay like a champ. Hay is the mainstay of a house rabbit’s diet. She eats any kind of healthy greens that are on the daily menu. She drinks water from a ceramic bowl.

Shadow is very energetic and would do best in a household without small children. She may also be a good candidate for bonding with another bunny. Shadow is spayed and is up to date on her RHD Vaccine.

If you're interested in adopting Shadow, please fill out our adoption questionnaire, which can be found on the adoption page of our website at
https://wisconsinhrs.org/adoption/

Adopters receive a free copy of the House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an
Urban Rabbit and a complimentary one-year membership to the Wisconsin House Rabbit Society.
