Sebastien & François's Story

We first met Sebastien & François in November 2020. This handsome duo of neutered male rabbits were surrendered to us when their original guardians decided they could no longer care for them.

In December 2020, these undoubtedly adorable gents were adopted by a couple who contacted us in June of this year to let us know they needed to return the boys. The couple had divorced…one had moved out of state and the other “wanted to get a dog” and decided that Sebastien & François could not remain in their home.

We are so sad for the boys, but we know that the third time will be a charm for them. We don’t understand how anyone could give up these incredibly sweet buns, but it is 100% their loss…Sebastien & François are amazing!

Sebastien is an English Spot x Mini Lop mix, with helicopter ears--one sticks up, one flops down--and François is a Dutch mix who looks as though he's sporting a fashionably-crooked beret :)

Both boys are rather sweet, though they are skittish with too much noise or activity, so we do not feel they would be a good fit for a home with smaller children.

If you would be interested in adopting a rabbit from Luna's House, please take a moment to fill out an online application: https://www.lunashouse.org/php_email_form/formphp.html

Once we have received and approved your completed application, we can schedule a time for you to come meet with rabbits available for adoption to see with whom you have the best connection. Our adoption fee for a pair of rabbits is $125. This is a donation meant to help us cover part of the cost of caring for the animal you are adopting while (s)he is with us, including veterinary exam, spay or neuter surgery, deworming, RHDV2 vaccinations, food, bedding, etc.

Both Sebastien & François have been vaccinated against RHVD2.
