Scout's Story

This is Scout.

Until yesterday, this little girl spent over 2 years living in the crate you see pictured.

2 years.

That’s like spending your whole life lying down in a bathroom - barely enough space to stretch, move, or just be.

Her family said they couldn’t afford her anymore and needed her gone immediately. We offered supplies, food, and support, but they weren’t interested in keeping her. So Scout came to us and thank goodness she did.

Now, she’s safe. She’s got room to hop, explore, and finally breathe. Her new foster mom gives her tons of free roam time and Scout is already showing us what a resilient bunny she really is.

Her vet appointments and spay are coming up soon, but here’s something amazing - one of our supporters purchased a “Name A Bunny” package from our online store, which covers the entire cost of a rabbit’s vetting. They chose the name Scout and now this girl’s care is fully covered.

How incredible that a stranger’s kindness could change everything for her - from a crate to freedom, from forgotten to loved.

We’re so glad Scout is here.
