Sal's Story

Sal is a sweet bunny that easily becomes comfortable with gentle humans. He enjoys exploring and snuggling in for endless head pets. His left eye has some scarring and a laceration to his lid from past trauma--it's healed and non painful but he will need eye lube in that eye once daily for the foreseeable future.<br/><br/>Arrived in LIRRG care February 2026<br/>Age upon arrival: 3 years old<br/>Sweet, cuddly, shy, playful, calm/gentle

Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group's Adoption Policy

Our adoption procedure includes a phone interview, home visit, and any necessary education of potential adopters. Our adoption fee is a $150 donation per rabbit. All of our rabbits are spayed/neutered, health checked by rabbit-savvy vets, vaccinated for the RHDV2 virus, and fostered in private homes.
