Sahara's Story

Sahara came to us from a neglect situation in November 2022. She was pretty dirty and thin when she came into our care. She's all cleaned up now, happy and healthily plump! She's got a BIG personality. She is so very snugly and affectionate. Anytime you come into the room she is hopping over and reaching out for snuggles and pets. She loves all of her food! Fresh hay, pellets, and all the different kinds of safe greens, small amounts of fruit, treats and whatever snack a bunny can have.....she's having it!
She gets along great and is patient with children, dogs, cats and she is actually forever bonded with our other foster rabbit, Stout! He's a very social guy too. They are a package deal!
Sahara is intelligent, playful, litter trained, silly, sour, sweet, outgoing and not shy in the slightest. She is so funny to watch hop around with her big bunny bum! She is the dominant rabbit out of the pair and makes sure Stout is cleaned, safe and loved at all times.
She is an absolute joy, an absolute cutie pie and will certainly squeeze your heart.
