Russell's Story

Russell was formerly a classroom pet. He's since moved on and is hoping to be your dream house bun. He's a mini rex, so his coat is soft as a cloud. He'd be a fantastic tv watching buddy or book reading companion. He can be a bit protective over his food bowl, so may need a little time to warm up when he comes home with you. We also think he might be a good candidate to bond with another spayed/neutered rabbit, as he's shown gentle interest in the bunnies in his foster home. Adoption application is the first step. Then we have a personal conversation about their experience and education level for specific animal. We make sure our adopters have the proper set up and diet. We complete a home visit if necessary and help set up the adopter’s new pet’s habitat if needed.
