Rose: video!!!'s Story
*This bunny is fully vaccinated for RHDV**
Breed: mini lop mix
Size: about 5 lbs
DOB: About 1 year old as of January 2025
Reason in rescue: Rose came in after she was rescued from a local hoarding situation with almost 30 others! We got her spayed and vaccinated and now she’s ready to find a family!
Personality: Rose came to us as a very pitiful little girl. She was thin with very bad fleas and skin mites (her skin was bright red). Shes been treated for everything and has gained weight and is now doing so well! Rose was born with something called splay leg where some of her legs are wonky and stick out. She absolutely gets around just fine (bunnies adapt well when born with something) and we always call our splay legged buns little seals lol. She is super sweet, loves people and attention, and absolutely loves getting out of her pen to run around! The only thing a potential adopter has to monitor for as she gets older is potentially arthritis because her limbs aren’t set the normal way. She is very good with her litter box.
Friends: she is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2' for a single, 4 x 4 for a pair). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption (but can be waived if pictures or video are supplied of where the bunny will be living). Suggested adoption donation is $100 which includes her spay, vaccine, and microchip.
