Meet Rocket (Madison)
My name is Rocket and I’ve got quite a story. I lived with my previous owner for ten years. She brought me to a humane society because the place she moved to didn’t allow pets. The humane society asked WHRS to take me in and find me a home.
When I arrived at WHRS I was not in good condition. My ears were filled with dry wax. I had matts all over my body, including the hair around my eyes. My bum was sore and needed cleaning. I also refused to eat even though I had a choice of six foods. WHRS called my previous owner to see what I had been eating at her house. She said she gave me food with a lot of treats in it and that I loved granola bars. I therefore was not interested in the healthy food that was being offered to me! Eventually, I started nibbling on the healthy food and now I’m on a good diet. WHRS took me to the vet for a checkup and confirmed that I am completely healthy.
I may be small, but I have a big personality and will let you know what I like and don’t like. I am used to getting my way! Speaking of which, if I had my way I would be in my new home by now. I would prefer a home with an experienced rabbit owner and no young children.
