Red's Story
A couple of months ago we received a call about 3 bunnies dumped in a cardboard box in a severe thunderstorm at a baseball field in the Lexington area. The soggy box contained three soaking wet young rabbits. Red was one of them. He was covered in fleas and mud, soaking wet, but still so friendly. We took him and the other two in. Red was a beauty when we found him and even more so now that he has cleaned himself up and been in a safe environment for a while.

Red is smart. He can figure out challenges very quickly. He is also very outgoing and curious. He is quick to greet anyone who comes into the rescue. No shyness here!

Red is working on his litter box skills and they are quickly improving. He is also up to date on RHDV vaccination. To apply to adopt or foster, click Apply Now at https://www.hoppyheartssc.org/adopt
