Precision's Story

Precision is a very large white bunny who was caught by our volunteers as she was running loose in Mt. Holly Springs. She was covered in fleas and ticks and went to the vet right away. After medication and care for her coat, she seems to know she is in good hands and is no longer afraid. BunnyPeople's policy is to adopt within a 60-mile radius of the shelter in Harrisburg, PA only.

BunnyPeople's Adoption Policy

BunnyPeople is an ALL-VOLUNTEER organization. Please allow up to one week for responses. You may contact us about adopting a specific rabbit through Petfinder's email symbol that appears next to each bunny's picture. You can visit during a "Meet the Buns" event (held once a month), visit during an Open House, or make an appointment to visit the shelter. All adopters must be screened by telephone before adopting a rabbit. If you would like to read our recommendations on rabbit care before you apply for adoption, please go to www.thebunnypeople.org, and click on "Rabbit Care Information" along the left side of the homepage. BunnyPeople adopts out to individuals within a limited radius of our shelter in Harrisburg, PA for the safety and health of our rabbits. Generally, this covers central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. Please email us if you are not certain if you are within our adoption area. We do not adopt to classrooms, nursing or personal care homes, or college students.
