Pom Pom (EC+)'s Story
Pom Pom is a beautiful blue-eyed white mini lop mix who is the definition of a love bug She can never get enough affection and will nudge her foster's hand with her head to demand head rubs.

It's unfathomable how such a sweet rabbit was left behind when her family up and moved out. Leaving her sitting in a filthy cage covered in her own waste. Thankfully, she was rescued by our friends Orlando Rabbit Care & Adoptions, where she was spayed and spent the last year receiving the care and love she deserved before catching a ride down to South Florida to us.

Pom has quite a few things going on. She's EC+, has dental disease, heart disease, suspected kidney disease, and a pronounced curvature in her thoracic spine. X-rays also show healed rib fractures We can't say for sure if the way her spine curves is congenital or caused by trauma but one thing we know for sure: it does not slows her down.

Despite everything, Pom is bright, energetic, curious, and endlessly affectionate. She was transferred into our care June 2026 as a potential bunwife for our EC+ senior, Rusty, but unfortunately we learned she was a little too for bonding and will remain a single lady.

(We don't talk about her litter box skills.)
