Pippin's Story
Pippin is a 3.5 year old brown and grey neutered male lion head mix. He is currently living as a single bunny. However, he might really enjoy a house with a bunny companion! He is incredibly sensitive and hates being handled, although he does like having his back and ears pet once he warms up to you. He would do best in a quiet home with no kids, where he can have his own space, and be allowed to form relationships with his people on his time. You will know he’s happy when he starts doing bunny zoomies followed by a series of binkies and flops - it’s so adorable!

Pippin is fully litter box trained, with the exception of territorial poop he leaves around his space (virtually every bunny does this - bunny poop is tiny, dry, hard pellets that can be easily swept up). He has shown very minimal destructive behavior - chewing on the foam mat in his current enclosure. He does not dig or mark or chew on carpet, although he loves to dig at and rearrange blankets! He is extremely curious and loves exploring new places when he feels secure. He would love to be a free roaming bunny who could explore a whole room or even a whole house! His favorite treat is banana.

Please reach out if you would like to meet Pippin! Candidates will be screened thoroughly. Only adults will be considered, bunnies do not make good pets for young children. Please visit rabbit.org for the most reliable information on caring for a house rabbit.
