Piper's Story

Piper was found next to a dumpster with Maise when they were little. She is approximately 1 year old and very friendly. Piper will do well in a home where she can run free quite a bit and does not mind cats. She will not be placed in a home with loud or aggressive dogs. The ideal home for Piper is with older children or adults only. If you are interested in Piper, please fill out the foster application at hollyhops.org. Fostering is required for 30 days before an adoption, if approved, can be completed. The rescue provides almost everything you will need for the first 30 days. Photos of the area where she will be living and intermittent photos are required and non-negotiable.

Holly Hops Rabbit Rescue and Rehabilitation, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Fosters or adopters are required to fill out an application on our website at www.hollyhops.org. Each person in the household is background checked if they are over 18. If there are other pets in the house, a pre-determination is mandatory to see how the other animals react to the rabbit. No home with an aggressive dog or reptile is permitted to foster or adopt. No rabbits in our rescue are permitted to be housed in hutches, cages, or kept outside for any reason. Once we are satisfied that the rabbit will be housed, fed, and vaccinated as required for ownership we permit the adoption. If for any reason the owner cannot keep the rabbit after they adopt, they pay a rehoming fee and the rabbit must be returned to us.
