He survived out there at least three weeks until the rescue got wind of it. He was rescued February 8, 2026. <br/><br/>Pimento was neutered on March 5, 2026. He has an estimated DOB of February 2025<br/><br/>Pimento had matted fur upon rescue and the mats were cut out. His fur is growing back to its normal vibrant orange color..<br/><br/>Pimento is a sweet, loving, laid-back bunny deeply appreciative of being rescued. He's extremely easy to approach, pick-up, and snuggle. He gets a look of bliss on his face when you stroke his head; he will even chatter his teeth for you too!<br/><br/>He might like bunwife if you have a spayed female rabbit searching for a companion; he did well on a quick speed date introduction.<br/><br/>He's just about as perfect as they come so if you feel a connection to him, reach out about adopting him!<br/><br/>Pimento should be housed in an exercise pen or free roam. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is always open and an exercise pen placed around it. (Nylon, pop-up playpens are not recommended as a rabbit will chew right through it!)<br/><br/>Please be over 21 if inquiring about Pimento.<br/><br/>Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment.<br/><br/>Pimento can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. <br/><br/>PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit!
