Peppercorn's Story
Peppercorn is a black otter lop ear bunny born in the spring of 2024. She was born and raised in a barn and will need a refresher course on handling. She is not potty trained, but could be with some work.

She will try to open her cage door while we refill her food dish, and almost always tips her food dish over immediately because she likes to put her feet in it to eat. She's a quiet keeper, not asking for much. She did kick and squirm when picked up, but she calmed down pretty quick. Out of the cage she's curious about her surroundings, but still cautious of things (and people) she isn't familiar with. She did explore while out of the cage, but wasn't interested in checking out the photographer. She would really thrive in a household that wanted to take the time to handle her more.

Peppercorn's adoption fee is $30 plus a $20 refundable* spay deposit ($50 total). She is currently living alone, as she started to dominance hump her sister. She's doing much better (less stressed) now on her own.

Spay deposits are refundable if proof of surgical sterilization is returned within 30 days of adoption. Failure to provide proof of spay within the first 30 days of adoption will result in forfeit of the deposit, which will be kept as a donation toward the care of other animals here.
