Meet Penelope (Penny for short), who lived at the NYC shelter from August 2021 until we pulled her at the beginning of January. Initially she was shy and defensive, but she learned quickly that humans aren’t too bad and that they even give treats! She loves jumping up on chairs and climbing her multi level condo, and points her big ears in your direction to hear every word you say. Penelope has impeccable litter box skills, is spayed, and is very smart. She will need a family that gives her ample attention and enrichments to keep her inquisitive mind from getting her into trouble. Penny might also make a great partner bunny, as she has shown no aggression toward her housemates who live on the other side of a gate. Are you ready for Penny?
