Pen (Bonded to Ink)'s Story
It was a dark and stormy night. Through torrential rain, ominous flashes of lightning and thunderclaps which shook the very ground beneath their feet, two comely and frightened young rabbits fled, seeking shelter and a safe place to lay their heads. By a stroke of great good fortune a kind human came upon them and was able to bring them to safety. The two bunnies have adopted the names “Pen” and “Ink” and hope to express gratitude for their timely rescue by recording their memoirs and writing stories with happy endings.

Pen has a beautiful agouti (mulit-colored brown) coat and is the extrovert of the pair. She loves food and does binkies when she sees the salad plate. She enjoys rom-coms, human company, will eat from your hand and loves to be petted while eating. Ink, a lovely black bun with white accents, has more Goth girl leanings: she is shy and may keep her distance at first, but with time and patience she warms up and will favor you with her soulful gaze. Both are well-behaved girls. They love each other, sleep and play together, and are great with their litter box. They are seeking a forever home with loving and like-minded humans who will support their literary aspirations.

We adopt to indoor homes only! If you are interested in adopting a bunny from Orlando Rabbit Care and Adoptions, or would like more information on rabbit care, please visit our website at: http://www.orlandorabbit.org. The first step in our adoption process is to complete an adoption application, which can be found here: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/55856/generic . Then one of our volunteers will reach out to you via email to schedule a time to speak with you. If you don't see the email in a day or two, please check your spam folder!

Our Adoption Fee/Donation for a single rabbit is $100, a pair is $170, and a triple is $200. This helps to offset the cost of having the rabbits altered, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as any medical care that may have been required.
