Papa's Story

Papa came to us as his namesake suggests..as a papa! A good citizen alerted us to some rabbits their neighbor had dumped. We sadly found Papa and a litter of babies and their deceased mama. Papa was the BEST at taking care of his girls and is now ready to find the bondmate and home of his dreams. He is the sweetest guy and loves other bunnies. <br/><br/>All of our bunnies come fixed, vaccinated, and chipped. True Hearts Rescue for Healing Paws's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters are verbally interviewed as well as filling out an adoption application. Once the application is approved they meet the animal in person and sometimes undergo a home check, and then fill out an adoption contract.

To reduce euthanasia and neglect of the homeless population of animals most in need of resources and care through a variety of programs including foster homes, adoptions and education of the public for cats, dogs, rabbits, and other small exotic pets as resources allow and need dictates.
