Panini's Story
INDOOR ONLY HOMES PLEASE

Panini was rescued on October 6, 2023. He is one of twenty rabbits rescued from a neighborhood in Murrieta where a resident released rabbits into the streets to fend for themselves.

He is a small rabbit weighing 3.25 pounds. He might like a female friend if you have a spayed rabbit needing companionship. His estimated date of birth is June of 2023.

Adorable Panini eagerly awaits his turn to romp in the rabbit play area. He is easy to pick up and handle.

He likes head rubs and kisses on his nose and cheeks. He will explore any new hiding spots to burrow or snooze in.

He definitely likes it when you interact with him on the ground or even nap on the floor or have a slumber party with him.

Why is this cutie patootie still here? Will you be his person?

Panini should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. He can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Panini can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!

If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.

See the following link for more information: https://rabbit.org/care/bonding/

BENEFITS OF ADOPTION FROM KRIBS FOR KRITTERS RABBIT RESCUE:

* Lifetime free nail trims and scent gland cleaning
* Unparalleled rabbit education before you adopt
* Ongoing support after you adopt
* Starter hay and toys
* Reasonably priced boarding when you're on vacation

PLEASE WATCH TOP 10 MISTAKES RABBIT OWNERS MAKE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6IlJTgsQrU

PLEASE WATCH TOP 10 REASONS NOT TO GET A BUNNY!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaoHFamRXYg

THE BIGGEST MISTAKES YOU CAN MAKE AS A RABBIT OWNER: https://www.thedodo.com/things-to-know-getting-rabbit-1340963451.html

A HUTCH IS NOT ENOUGH! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vvlb-prX4I

Kribs for Kritters Rabbit Rescue & Sanctuary

Find Kribs for Kritters on: https://www.facebook.com/kribsforkrittersofficial/

https://www.instagram.com/kribs_for_kritters/

Our founder is a ONE PERSON, uncompensated volunteer, grass roots, boots-on-the-ground rescuer who exclusively rescues domestic rabbits that have been cruelly abandoned at parks, golf courses, schools, fitness trails, and other outdoor locations.
